Update: The double passes have been claimed. Thanks for the quick responses! Our winners will be notified shortly.
The answer to our question was of course Moss, which was based on a popular webcomic that began in 2007.
Been chatting with the lovely people over at GoMA’s Australian Cinémathèque in Brisbane today, who have offered us a couple of double passes to one of the films remaining in their Drawn to Screen: Graphic Novels, Comics and Serials programme.
And since we’re HC it’s got to be something HC-y, so the first two people to contact us (via our Contact Us page) and tell us which of the following films were based on a webcomic will get a double pass to their choice (from the list). I’ll update this post once the passes are gone.
Asian cinema remaining in the programme are:
- Moss (Australian premiere! Tonight 6 pm)
- Old Boy (also tonight 9 pm)
- Metropolis (Feb 24 or 29, 6 pm)
- Ghost in the Shell: Innocence (Feb 24, 8.30 pm)
- Akira (Feb 29, 8 pm)
- Young and Dangerous (Mar 02, 6 pm)
- Storm Riders (Mar 02, 8.10 pm)
This has been such a fantastic programme for numerous reasons. It’ll be sad to see it end!
